Katy attained her PhD from the University of Manchester, UK, where she investigated disruptions in cerebral blood flow in the APP23 mouse model of amyloid overexpression.

Katy’s work in the lab will continue to investigate blood vessel function in APP23 mice in the context of CAA, and how amyloid burdened vessels become prone to rupture.

In her free time, Katy likes to ski, run, and spend time at the pub with friends.
