S. Soumya Vytla

RESEARCH TECHNICIAN

Soumya completed her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at Vanderbilt University where she was also a research assistant at the Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer’s Center, exploring inflammation-driven vascular remodeling in brain aging.

Soumya’s current research focuses on investigating vascular injury related to subarachnoid hemorrhage and cortical superficial siderosis in CAA using quantitative immunohistochemistry techniques. She is co-mentored by Dr. Valentina Perosa.

In her free time, she likes to make music and spend time outdoors.
